Obama Plays Follow The Leader - AGAIN!

I keep saying to myself, "Just wait a moment - Obama or Biden will stick one of their feet in one of their mouths."

Then Bingo! just like clockwork. This is becoming eerie....

I almost came out of my slumber when I heard Obama cry racism against Hilary supporters, as though costing him the election reflected on nothing else. Slammming your own supporters is incredibly stupid. Calling them racists if they don't unite behind you is even more stupid. How low can Obama go?

Luckily for me, other conservatives picked that up and gave it the attention (i.e. thrashing) it deserves, saving me the time I need for my beauty sleep.

Today, however, I almost fell out of my chair when after today's news conferences where the candidates demonstrated what they are made of in response to a crisis.

John McCain demonstrated exactly what he would do as president - in his own, forceful words he explained that he would marshal all his resources, exert his influence, meet with experts, debate with his colleagues and lead the way to a bi-partisan consensus. John McCain is, once again, showing by doing. "This is what you can count on me to do when I'm President - I'll do my JOB!" (Hint: McCain and Obama are sitting US Senators, you know - they have a certain amount of power already.)

Contrast this method of operation with candidate Obama, who insisted on focusing on the debates this Friday wherein he would TALK ABOUT what he WOULD do someday in the future to move this economy forward. The contrast is clear - Obama WON'T ACTUALLY DO ANYTHING RIGHT NOW, but he's always happy to talk about the future where he might accomplish something. Someday. But not today. He can't even demonstrate any commitment to bi-partisanship. Today Obama demonstrated his lack of familiarity with the concept of bi-partisan cooperation by pointing fingers at everyone on the other side of his teleprompter.

He's going to change.....what, exactly?

And before you idiots carrying Obama's water even get started with that racism crap again - I'm black, and I can say anything I damn well please about any other black man. It's like I have a politically-incorrect Get-Out-Of-Jail-Free card! Get over it, already.

Obama may have great potential, but that's all he has. Obama hasn't done anything yet and, as of today's press conference, he is not in any great hurry to do anything now either. Maybe someday, though.

I wonder, what did Obama say he would do when he reached the Senate? He has not delivered anything. He has not even been "present", but I digress.

John McCain takes action NOW and takes the lead NOW. Obama talks about … talking some more. Obama will always be willing to *talk* about doing something, but he does not have the intestinal fortitude to actually *DO* something, to take bold action or to simply be decisive. Taking action of ANY sort, whether it is right or not, is risky, and Obama cannot handle any level of risk. Far better to sit on the sidelines while the leaders take the risks, and then criticize them along the way to show how "engaged" you are.

What a tremendous coward, trying to run with the heroes. Like most liberal pretenders to any throne of power, but definitely raised to the nth degree here. And when the heroes charge the enemy's position, where are the cowards? Exactly - they stay behind where it's safer.

Anything except doing. Anything but action. Yay, Obama.

Once again, McCain demonstrates leadership, which is exactly what is called for. He demonstrates his resolve to pursue a bi-partisan approach to help the country first, never mind the cost to him, and once the media figure out how to spin this for Obama it will surely cost McCain dearly.

Now, it generally takes Obama 2-3 days to follow McCain's lead (as most recently demonstrated in the Russian/Georgian crisis), but after his advisors and handlers study the situation and conclude that he must follow the leader, he will come out with his own spin on the leader's plans, but he will essentially agree with the leader. He'll find a way to criticize the leader, but he will follow. Because he is a follower.
Face it, liberals -a leader would have taken McCain's challenge and joined the competition and tried to best him at it. Obama turned tail and ran for the tall grass.

That's your guy. You could have had Hilary…but I digress.

Obama is a great follower. He does not have any leadership qualities whatsoever. Obama can position himself to line up with people's expectations, but that's not leadership - that's follower-ship again.  Follower's instinct is all he has. Obama does not have the strength of ANY conviction to stand out from the pack and take the arrows that a true leader must take. Obama is arrow-averse - this is why the media has shielded him from any and all arrows for this long. One arrow and Obama will fold into a stuttering puddle of confusion and indecision. Meanwhile, the country waits for the leader to step up.

Leaders take chances to protect and defend and support WHAT THEY BELIEVE IN. Obama believes in nothing. He simply cannot lead. Not anyone, not anywhere. Not under any circumstances, however small and insignificant and safe.

There is one leader in the race for the Presidency, and that leader is clearly John McCain.

Thank you, Lord, for John McCain at this time in our nation's hour of need.
